Dalton State College Partners with Metz for Campus Dining Services
Dalton State College has partnered with Metz Culinary Management to provide dining services at the college’s Pope Student Center for students, faculty, staff and guests. The Pope Student Center is currently undergoing a $4 million renovation to expand dining services and give students more useable space.
“We are looking forward to a long-term partnership with Dalton State College and working in the newly renovated student center,” said Jeff Metz, President and CEO at Metz Culinary Management. “The student center is the heart of campus and Metz will help meet the needs of students by providing them with healthy, locally sourced food and introducing Dalton State to popular national brands, including Starbucks Coffee.”
When the newly renovated student center opens this summer, Metz Culinary Management will provide a salad bar, sandwich station, grill, meat and vegetable station, pizza station, and prepared-to-order chef station that will change themes daily.
The new dining facilities will feature a 21st century atmosphere that will continue to keep the campuses footprint at a minimum.
According to the college, Metz Culinary Management was selected due to the company’s breadth of business partner relationships, attractive financial package, flexibility, site visit scores at client facilities and superior responses from reference interviews. The partnership agreement is for five years.
