 Metz Culinary Management is seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition for a 275 bed acute care hospital located in Dover, Delaware In this lead role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food contract operations for their two cafes’, patient meal services (experience with room service is a plus) and catering.  Responsibilities will include:  working with budgets/ financial reporting, cash management and control, training and development of the management team, HR functions, strategic planning, direct client interaction and overall supervision of 75 non-union hourly associates in addition to a management staff of 12 managers/supervisors.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years lead food management experience, a solid financial acumen, a strong working knowledge of food safety and sanitation compliance, computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.  Prior food management experience in acute care hospitals would be preferred for this role.
