A message from Rick Sell, Vice President of Restaurant Operations:
After a 17-year hiatus, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Air Show returned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport the weekend of August 12th and 13th. Serving over 800 guests during the course of the show, Metz Culinary Management had the distinct pleasure of providing hospitality services for the Airport Administration VIP tent. The Metz team also provided services for a separate VIP tent event for the car show that also took place on the airport grounds during the weekend.
Our hard-working team was led by restaurant director of operations Andy Sweitzer along with Mike Raub, Wes Epstein, and Kathi Bankes. We were also very fortunate to have the following team members available to greet and serve our guests: bartenders Stella Praefe and Jennifer Kresge from Ruth’s Chris, Abby Tressa and Nancy Moss from Lucky’s Craft Food and Drink, Steve Shappert, Jeff Davis and Mary Sawicki from the Kingston Culinary Center, Andrew Yakobitis from Misericordia University and Brittany Hilman from Navient. Additional help also came from Andy’s wife Shannon Sweitzer and their daughter Emma as well as Mike Raub’s son Michael.
