Metz Culinary Management Invites Kids and Parents To Rev up Summer 2018
Families are invited to attend Metz’s weekly Kids Night at Chick-fil-A at Misericordia University, located in the Banks Student Life Center, 301 Lake Street, Dallas. A special event, sponsored by Chick-fil-A and co-hosted by the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery, will feature a screening of Disney’s Cars 3, in addition to an opportunity for kids to create their own art car.
The film viewing will begin at 6 p.m., and prizes will be awarded for best car art. In addition, children will receive goody bags and eat free with the purchase of an adult Chick-fil-A meal.
Misericordia’s Chick-fil-A has been sponsoring this popular summer programming since last summer. Retail manager Donna Walker notes that she has seen many familiar faces so far this summer, evidence of families returning for an enjoyable evening out that fits well within a cost-conscious budget.
The dinner and movie night coincides with the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery’s latest exhibition, titled “America’s Road: The Journey of Route 66.” Lalaine Bangilan Little, the gallery’s Director, describes the exhibit as exploring “…all the roadside attractions that you see in your car when you’re traveling with your family on vacation by highway.” She also notes the connection between the new exhibit and this Kids Night event, stating that it is a total celebration of motor travel.
Kids Night takes place every Wednesday through August 22 from 5-7 p.m.
